Pahang Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, officially started work at the newly inaugurated Sultan Ahmad Shah Administrative Centre, marking a historic milestone for the state. This modern facility, which replaces the 50-year-old Wisma Sri Pahang, is set to streamline government operations and ease traffic congestion by expanding Kuantan into a thriving residential and administrative hub.
The state’s transformation was endorsed by Al-Sultan Abdullah, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the time, who officiated the grand opening on December 7, 2023. The centre, designed to reflect the Pahang coat of arms, stands as a symbol of progress, blending tradition with modernity. Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy expressed hopes that this development will usher in a new era of peace and prosperity for Pahang.
